Mavi Deniz’s Catamaran Utility Vessels are workboats designed for onshore and offshore operations. Catamaran Utility Vessels can use maintenance support, hydrographical survey, dive support, buoy laying, lighthouse supply, aquaculture operations, environmental support operations, oil spill recovery, and fire fighting.
The Utility Vessel offers excellent fuel efficiency on a proven hull built with advanced construction methods and materials. A comfortable and functional interior with a safe and available exterior were key design themes for the vessel. The versatile interior and exterior arrangement can suit various uses and alternative fit-outs.
The main deck has a carrying capacity of up to 25 tonnes, is arranged for multiple uses, including a moonpool for exploration services, and can carry min 4 x 20ft containers. A hydraulic remote deck crane, can lift 12 tonnes @ 3 meters and 2.1tonne at 13m. Deck structure to suit a removable luffing A-frame with a safe working load of 20 tonnes.
The central accommodation is forward and contains space for a crew of 14. The main deck cabin houses the galley and crew mess area and two crew cabins for the senior staff. Day accommodation and seating can provide up to 46 persons, sleeping, and service facilities for crew/personnel of up to 32 persons in 15 cabins.
The Utility Vessel wheelhouse is on the upper deck and features all-around visibility from the helm seat. Crew and passenger seating is provided around the perimeter of the cabin. Two wing control stations are fitted forward on either side, with a tender/rescue boat located aft within easy reach of the deck crane. The latest electronic navigation aids, a total GMDSS-compliant ship radio station, and Inmarsat Fleet broadband and Iridium Openport satellite communication systems are fitted.
Catamaran Utility Vessel has a comfortable deck area with 360 fields of view. For the crew and project teams, designs comfortable accommodations and feel at home while at sea. Utility Vessel has The Working deck will feature your workspace requirements and accommodate a quartet of 20 ft containers. The deck can be fitted with a foldable telescopic crane up to 4S t. A moon pool will also be equipped and mounts for a removable luffing A-Frame with 20 t capacity. Service speed will be 20 knots, and the range will be 1800 n miles.

The implementation of emission control areas has begun to affect vessel operations. Mavi Deniz has successfully started new emission control regulations by developing dual-fuel solutions and cleaner green power technologies. Mavi Deniz’s Green Power Options; Solar Energy System, Battery Power System, Hydrogen Fuel Cell System, and LGG System can fully integrate into Catamaran Utility Vessel, including deck equipment and propulsion system.
