In the early years, the primary activity was shipbuilding and ship repair at the BASARAN Group shipyard in Pendik, Istanbul, Turkey. MAVI DENIZ is the world leader in the oil-recovery vessel-building market. In the shipyard, we are also building cutter suction dredgers and multi-purpose dredgers for the dredging market worldwide.
Through this beneficial cooperation, the company gained valuable experience and an understanding of the strengths and limitations of the existing oil recovery and response market.
