Basaran-1 Oil Spill Response Vessel and our instant response team were sent to the scene where M/V STRONSTSIY went ashore near Cape Asia n in Kilyos on 12.02.2004 due to bad weather conditions. The vessel was surrounded by l 00 m oil booms, and divers took liquid waste from the vessel’s fuel oil tanks.
