Mavi Deniz Offshore Multi Oil Skimmer is designed to recover oil spills, oil, and oil emulsions with medium to high viscosity ranging from 60 – 300 m3/h from floating oil on the water under calm to rough weather conditions. Offshore Multi Oil Skimmer is a rotating oleophilic skimmer, one of the most common mechanical recovery devices. Oil Skimmer Recovery is based on oil adhesion to a rotating skimmer surface. (Brush + Disc + Drum) The rotating surface lifts the oil out of the water to an oil removal scrapper.
The Offshore Multi Oil Skimmer System Standard units are complete with a skimmer head, pump unit, hydraulic and transfer hoses, and hydraulic power pack. Hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel-electric motors can drive them.
The Offshore Multi Skimmer System can make remote operation possible. With the radio remote control system + Continuous self-floating umbilical + hydraulic thrusters, Multi Skimmer gets up to 150 meters of operational motion capability.

- Disc Skimmer
The discs rotated down through the oil slick, and the oil collected on the discs was removed using scrapers in between the discs. Oil flowed from the discs, down the scrapers, and into a tank, where a pump offloaded the oil to collection tanks. - Drum Skimmer
The drums rotated down through the oil slick, and the oil collected on the drums was removed using scrapers. Oil flowed from the wipers into a tank, where a pump offloaded the oil to collection tanks.
- Brush Skimmer
The brushes rotated down through the oil slick, the oil collected on the discs was removed using scrapers, and the oil flowed into a tank. A pump offloaded the oil up to collection tanks. - Grooved Skimmer
The grooved drums rotated down through the oil slick, and the oil collected on the drums was removed using scrapers. Oil flowed from the wipers into a tank, where a pump offloaded the oil to collection tanks.
