The versatile Pollution Control Vessel can be fitted with various types of response equipment so that it can utilize in many different applications, including boom deployment, firefighting, buoy handling, towing, general workboat duties, monitoring, dispersant spraying, oil recovery, garbage collection, storage and disposal of micro-pollutants from the sea and beach clean-up operations.
Trash Skimmer Vessel designed to combat pollution at sea, Pollution Control Vessel isolates the polluted area with oil booms carried onboard to recover hydrocarbon spills and store inside the tanks, collects and holds solid floating and semi-submerged waste; fights fires, clean rocks, and reefs plus provide general support in the area.
Trash Skimmer Vessel has hydraulic power, and a clear deck with a hydraulic crane provides a versatile tool for many operations in the port or at sea. An optional boom reel can be used to store and deploy various differently sized booms or foam/water monitors for firefighting. A voluntary Dispersant spray system is fitted for applying the chemical dispersion agent through articulated arms mounted on both sides of the vessel. An optional anti-pollution response vessel also collects oil and hydrocarbon slicks on the water with the oil skimmer system. Pollution Control Vessel has been specially conceived to operate in harbor areas, nearby waters, and open-seas or offshore activities.
