Multi-Purpose Anti Pollution Vessel can fit all the equipment necessary to implement an efficient and quick marine clean-up operation. Mavi Deniz recently introduced the Sea Cat, a multi-purpose Anti Pollution Vessel. The versatile OSRV can fit with various types of response equipment so that it can utilize in many different applications, including boom deployment, firefighting, buoy handling, towing, general workboat duties, monitoring, dispersant spraying, oil recovery, garbage collection, storage, and disposal of micro-pollutants from the sea and beach clean-up operations. To combat pollution at sea, Sea Cat: isolates the polluted area with oil booms carried onboard to recover hydrocarbon spills; collects and stores stable floating and semi-submerged waste; fights fire, cleans rocks and reefs, plus provides general support in the area. Improved oil storage, hydraulic power, and a clear deck with a hydraulic crane offer a versatile tool for many operations around the port and terminal.
Sea Cat is a purpose-built oil spill recovery vessel that comes complete with an internal dynamic conveyor belt skimmer system between the catamaran hulls into the unit to enable recovery of all oil viscosities; this uniquely designed, purpose-built oil spill recovery and is the only craft capable of recovering oils from light diesel through to highly viscous crudes by merely driving the vessel through the slick. Optionally oil mop skimmer system is fitted with steel hulls. An optional boom reel and deploy various booms or foam/water monitors for firefighting. The dispersant spray system allows applying the chemical dispersion agent through articulated arms mounted on both sides of the vessel. The oil pollution response vessel also collects garbage/debris with its front belt conveyor system.
Anti-Pollution Vessel has been designed to operate in harbor areas, closed waters, and open-seas or offshore activities. The vessel is based on a robust steel catamaran hull. OSRV has excellent sea-going qualities, which allow the ship to reach the same high level of performance in open waters. Mavi Deniz’s Oil Spill Recovery Vessels are seen in use all over the world.
